Fifteen years turning healthcare technology programs into things that actually go live.

Background

I manage healthcare technology programs for government and commercial clients — the kind where clinical workflow, government contract requirements, and engineering reality all have to line up before anything ships.

Most recently I spent eight years delivering government health contracts for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans Health Administration, the Department of Energy, and the State of Maryland, including full life-cycle work on VA's Cerner/Oracle EHR modernization program. Before that I ran ERP implementations across the country and, at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Alabama, wrote the grant that paid to move the whole facility from paper charts to electronic records — then managed the build, down to the server room and the cabling.

I hold a Master of Health Administration from George Washington University, a PMP, a Certified ScrumMaster, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. I served in the United States Air Force and the Georgia Army National Guard.

Career transition

March 2025 to now

In March 2025 I stepped back from full-time consulting to take on the growth of a family real-estate business, and to do it properly rather than part-time. I recruited and trained a manager who now runs day-to-day operations, which was the point: the business needed to be able to run without me. Alongside that I completed my PMP continuing education and coursework toward Georgia real-estate licensure.

That work is done and the succession is in place. I am actively looking for my next program management role.
